Exotic Tourist Destinations
When someone mentions the word exotic, one can assume that something not of the ordinary is being referred to. Aside from the common types of tourist destinations in the Philippines, there are a good number of places that are worthy to be allotted some time to in the Philippines. Beach resorts, parks, nature parks, water parks, reefs, mountain views, etc. are not the kind of places to look for when one is on the hunt for something exotic. Try hanging coffins for one, or a stairway of rice fields.

The two things might sound absurd to city folks, but the places that house them really exist in Sagada. Sagada is known to be the home of the Ifugao – one of the ethnic tribes in the Philippines, with a culture that mirrors the Filipino people’s past. It is there that you can enjoy the great views of the Philippine rice terraces – a stairway to the skies and the mystic experience offered by the hanging coffins from a distant culture.
